When evaluating scientific papers, certain criteria should be used:

• Is the paper written clearly and concise?

• Does the paper list its objectives?

• Does the paper clearly describe the methods and procedures used? 

• Does the paper use reliable references?

A Personal Development Plan should contain information about the person making the PDP, the things that they have accomplished; such as educational background, work history, and major accomplishments. It should also show achieved goals and future goals to accomplish. What makes the person compassionate and proactive to meet their goals. It should also include a descriptive plan on how they may accomplish their goals.
